Hi-tech sushi of the future
Genki Sushi has a unique ordering system. You simply order your food on a touch screen (the panel menu has five available languages including English), wait a few minutes and voilá, plates of sushi are delivered directly to you by on a futuristic conveyor belt. There is also a printed menu that comes with English translations in case you need it. You can make as many orders as you like, but only three items at a time.
Just like out of a science fiction movie, a high-speed tray with room for three dishes carries your order in a matter of seconds. After you get your food, you just have to press a button in order to send the empty tray back to the kitchen. One of the appeals of this conveyor belt sushi restaurant is that you sit at the table as countless items float past you at lightning speed.
To compliment your sushi, you can pour a teaspoon of green tea powder and pour some hot water for free. They all can be can be found under the table. It’s true the sushi at Genki Sushi can’t compete with the most high-end, blow-your-budget sushi restaurants. However, each piece of sushi is made with the freshest ingredients and prepared with the utmost care. Besides, it allows you to experiment on certain items you’ve long been wanting to try as it is unbelievably affordable.
