Las Palmas Hotel- Pretty Woman Film Location

I´m an incurably romantic. I must have seen Pretty Woman more than a thousand times. Even now, the scene when Edward arrives to Vivian´s apartment in a white limousine with a bunch of ravishing red roses and playing Verdi´s La traviata, makes me sigh.

Facing up his fear of heights, the rich and handsome businessman played by Richard Gere, climbs up the fire scape to declare his love for the woman who turned his whole world upside down.

-“So what happens after he climbs up and rescues her?”

 – “She rescues him right back“, she replies.

Don´t you think it is one of Hollywood‘s most memorable and endearing happy endings ever filmed? During our trip to LA, we ventured away from the luxurious Regent Beverly Wilshire where the couple stayed for a week to Las Palmas Hotel just north off Hollywood Boulevard. It´s quite a modest hotel but, for $40 a night, you can recreate the famous scene with your very own Edward Lewis!
