Paris is certainly the world´s city de L´amour. Everything is très romantic here. The land of Chanel was one of the first places that we travelled to as a couple, so it truly holds a very special place in my heart. With a bottle of fine champagne, magnifique views of the Eiffel Tower, and your love by your side, there is scant room for improvement.

I started the 2019 with some interesting projects and collaborations, one of them in beautiful Paris. Even though I’ve been to this city countless times, it feels different to me every time.

For this special occasion, we stayed at one the most exquisite hotels in the French capital. I had chanced upon photos of their beautiful Privilege Suite online and fell in love– we booked it without even checking more options.

Surrounded by Parisian glamour, Splendid Etoile Hotel is acclaimed for its proximity to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées. With a colour palette of powder blue, pearl grey and cream, our quintessentially Parisian suite was the setting for dreams to come true.

We will never forget the moment we entered the room. Javi covered my eyes with a ribbon and took me in his arms. According to him, the look on my face when I took it off and saw the suite was priceless!

Our Privilege Suite

We started our days with a petit déjeuner in bed overlooking the lovely Parisian rooftops. Although the buffet was absolutely exceptional, the magic of having a fresh orange juice, a fluffy croissant and a café crème in the sumptuous bed of our suite was undeniable!

One day, we were invited to a wonderful party where we were going to meet so many interesting people related to the travel industry. Can it get any more glamorous than getting yourself dressed in a beautiful Parisian suite before enjoying a night out in the city of love?

I loved the moment when we opened a lovely little pink box of macarons and a bottle of champagne as I was changing my outfit for the night and refreshing my make up before heading out to the party after a chic lunch.

Ladurée macarons are synonymous with Paris, so we just had to have them! The decadent pastries from this gourmet French bakery are a pleasure for the eye and the palate.

Getting Ready with Löwengrip

A big, big thank you to Löwengrip, one of the leading beauty brands in the Nordics. When I was contacted by Rosanna -a part of the Special Relations Team- to collaborate with them I just couldn´t believe it. What an honor and what a lovely surprise!

Inside the beautifully packed box i got from them, I found just what i needed: the Blonde Perfection Silver Hair Mask and The Cure Hair Oil. As my hair is very dry I need high-quality products that are gentle but effective.

I have become an admirer of this brand ever since I tested their products. The mask is the best product I have tried for my blonde hair as it removes all yellow tones without drying it. Enriched with argan oil and vitamin B5, it also repairs the hair shafts while alleviating warm tones.

The rehydrating and glossing hair oil rehydrates, repairs and softens the hair fibers. One of the things that I loved most about this wonderful oil was its lovely scent!

Naturally, I used these amazing new products to create my look for that magical night! From now on, I´ll take them both in my hand luggage wherever I go.

A stay at Splendid Etoile is a magical Parisian affair. The following days, we didn´t get out. We would open a bottle of rose, play some French romantic songs and enjoy the spectacular nightly light show.

Although a good night’s sleep seems guaranteed here, it was just impossible to go to bed. Having the chance to see the grand icon from the comfort of our suite was something indescribable.
