YOTEL New York

YOTEL New York offers a new luxury hotel concept at an affordable price in the heart of Manhattan‘s vibrant theater district on 42nd Street and 10th Avenue.

Renowned for its airport hotels, YOTEL opened the brand´s first property  in a city location in June 2011, bringing a unique hotel experience to New York.

First-class airline cabins were the inspiration for this innovative concept in hotel design. YOTEL Founder Simon Woodroffe, conceived the idea of combining the Japanese capsule hotel with the business-class air travel exceptional comfort during a flight from Kuwait to London.

YOTEL New York- Executive View Cabin

Yotel New York features comfortable, minimalist style cabins with the latest in modern amenities and breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline.

We simply loved the Executive View Cabin, especially at night when the lighting changed into a soothing purple glow offering a sense of a futuristic setting.

New York was hit by the winter storm Hércules during our stay so we were delighted to have a silent heating unit to maintain the desired temperature in the room. The heated towel rack provided soft warm towels after a relaxing monsoon shower which was very pleasant.

Yotel New York is also a good choice for business travellers. The 669 stylish cabins are equipped with US and international plugs, free access to the high-strength Wi-Fi service, a work desk with multi power point sockets and a queen-sized bed with a hand-made organic mattress that guarantee a good night´s sleep.

There is a private Galley on every floor where guests can have complementary hot drinks including tea, coffee, latte, espresso and hot chocolate, as well as purified water and ice.

It was great to have a coffee in our own room while enjoying the views or watching TV in bed.

We spent 4 nights at Christmas time.

The Executive View Cabin rate was : US$ 216, taxes not included.

YOTEL New York- The Entrance Lobby

YOTEL New York completely surprises you from the moment you enter the lobby. Automated check-in and check-out kiosks help efficiently to minimize queuing times.

Although this innovative alternative to traditional hotel check-in desks can be challenging at first, the airport-like kiosks located in the hotel´s Ground Control area, are quite easy to use. Frienly staff are always close-by in case you need any assistance.

Yobot, the luggage handling robot, is undoubtedly the main attraction in the lobby. Don´t miss the fascinating performance of the robot as it loads and stores guests belongings!

YOTEL New York- The Terrace

YOTEL New York terrace, the largest outdoor space in Manhattan, is perfect for parties and live performances. On Saturdays and Sundays you can enjoy a $40 “all you can eat, all you can drink” brunch.
