The Perfect Winter Break in London

While far-flung holidays hold their appeal, there is something truly alluring about having a decadent city break somewhere in Europe. We spontaneously decided to pack our bags, board a flight and head to London for a memorable winter trip.

The posh city offers a wealth of must-see architectural landmarks, museums and art galleries, not to mention exquisite stores, irresistible cafes, and stylish speakeasies with world-class cocktails.

We began our days with a beautiful morning walk through the charming residential streets of Notting Hill. Coming in every shade, the quaint pastel-colored homes are a sight to behold.

I remember the moment we stumbled upon the cutest door ever as we got blissfully lost in the beautiful neighborhood. With its fun googly eyes, the bubble-gum-pink front door certainly stood out among the elegant surrounding architecture and kept us smiling ever since.

After the early morning stroll, we would enjoy an indulgent breakfast at some of the most iconic and picture-perfect cafes in the city. One day, we had the good fortune to treat ourselves to a romantic champagne afternoon tea at Sketch in Mayfair.

London´s dining scene just keeps getting better. For a passionate evening out we booked a table at some of the capital’s latest hot spots. With its ‘press for champagne’ button on every table, the iconic Soho restaurant Bob Bob Ricard was so much fun.
